Psychotherapy, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology
I'm an intern under supervision
Registered MFT Intern #58585 - 58585
I particularly like to assist clients who are interested in exploring and resolving their life circumstances, whether personal or relational, from a psycho-spiritual perspective, with deep self-exploration and integration of contemplative support and experience (meditation, self inquiry, mindfulness, nondual inquiry).
Psychotherapy, when approached with self-honesty, courage and compassion, is the most ideal space for inner exploration, transformation, healing and resolution of our life challenges. This journey can move us toward the rediscovery of our nature and the embracing of life, self and other with much more acceptance, clarity, understanding and openness.
I see psychotherapy as psycho-spiritual journey toward wholeness, healing and transformation, full integration of our conditions and inner potentials, and a movement toward openness to life.
The appreciation for how a compassionate and mindful connection with client/s can truly heal and transform our lives.
To assist, guide, support client/s in their journey toward wholeness and healing, and provide a respectful, mindful and compassionate connection in a space where transformation can occur.
The focus of my work is to first welcome a client/s as they are, without judgment or pathological interest, and fully connect with them. Second, to create with them the most conducive and supportive environment for an open, compassionate and honest exploration of their life circumstance.
There is really nothing to lose and actually much to gain by giving yourself the opportunity to see what may arise by being in a supportive space with a therapist who sees you as you are, without judgments or interpretations, who's only interest is to see you resolve your challenges and opening yourself to life. Besides, free consultations are always an option, at least with me!
Therapists are human and at times unpleasant experiences can arise. However, this should not discourage one from trying again with someone new, who can see and welcome them as they are and with whom a completely different and more supportive connection can be created. Consulting first with the therapist is essential and recommended - that's why I always offer a FREE consultation, as it is important also to me that a good connection and a fit is present from the start.
The connection is always the most important aspect, very closely followed by their approach and orientation.
