My Approach to Helping

Sex-positive, counseling, coaching and education. Hypnotherapy for sexual issues. Hypnotherapy for general concerns. Intimacy skills classes. LGBTQI and alternatives friendly.
Your diversity is honored.

I meet my clients where they are in life and in their loves. You will find that you are treated with warmth, respect, dignity and kindness when you and I are in session.

My practice is unique in that I offer four basic types of services to my clients:
1) General hypnotherapy for a variety of health, habit control, performance and personal growth concerns (and many of the topics listed under the Concerns & Issues section);
2) Specialized hypnotherapy for sexuality issues;
3) Clinical sexology: short-term, blend of sex coaching, counseling and education;
4) Intimacy and communications skills classes including PREP pre-marital, marriage and couples program (www.prepinc.com) and basic tantra instruction (no nudity/no intimate touching).

I offer instruction in sexual and intimacy skills to individuals and couples who deal with diagnosed or suspected Asperger's Syndrome. Adult virgins or those who feel they lack experience also benefit from these learning these skill. (Part of this works draws on the PREP curriculum.) For more info about the Asperger's Intimacy Counseling and Education Project, please see

In my clinical sexology practice, I support my clients as they deal with a range of sexuality and intimacy issues. I offer practical methods to help them build their own capacities for healthy sexuality and intimacy, even if there are physical challenges such as aging, disability, or medical issues. My goal is to help my clients feel good about themselves and their potential for greater pleasure and happiness in their love lives.

Sexological counseling and coaching focuses on sexuality and intimacy issues. It is sex-positive, nonjudgmental, typically short-term, behavioral in nature, and based on the PLISSIT model (email me for details). Sexological counseling/coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, but can work as a complement to therapy.

As a hypnotherapist, I also support healthy sexuality. And in addition I offer hypnotherapy for stress, health issues, habit control, pain, and personal growth issues, etc. Also "past life regressions" (or metaphorical stories that may result in insight). I have additional training in medical hypnosis and "past life" healing hypnosis.
