My Approach to Helping
It is my belief that often we engage in behaviors because we do not understand what is driving them. When we no longer feel comfortable with ourselves and our choices, it is time to explore what we have been doing so we can become more aware and make conscious decisions to do something different. That is true on an individual and in relationships, it helps to understand why we act, feel or relate in a certain manner in order to find alternatives that make us feel better about ourselves.
More Info About My Practice
I am a participant of many private insuances and EAP's. I have been practicing social work for over 20 years, working with a varied population. I believe my experience has allowed me to gain a healthy respect for the individuals who come to see me. In addition to my private practice I have another job which makes me very aware and sensitive to issue of separation, divorce and families in transitions.
