My Approach to Helping
It is my belief that often we engage in behaviors because we do not understand what is driving them. When we no longer feel comfortable with ourselves and our choices, it is time to explore what we have been doing so we can become more aware and make conscious decisions to do something different. That is true for the individual, family and people in relationships. Taking the step to uncover what is driving your thoughts and feelings and recognizing your strengths allows you to come to understand yourself better. Making the move to seek a therapist is in my opinion the first step to accepting that something does not feel right and you are ready to explore ways to change and develop strategies to challenge the old patterns and develop new so you can start to feel more satisfied and happier with yourself and your life.

More Info About My Practice
I am a participant of many private insurances and EAP's. I have been practicing social work for over 20 years, working with a varied population. I believe my experience has allowed me to gain a healthy respect for the individuals who come to see me. I also have a great deal of experience working with families, children and adolescents when there is a change in the family composition due to separation or divorce.
