My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is based on the foundation of a trusting and professional client-therapist relationship. Many styles of therapy can be effective once a client is able to freely express thoughts and feelings while being keenly listened to and understood. My belief is that every client has the inner resources to find relief from emotional pain. Discovering these hidden resources and supporting this process is the work of therapy. A successful client-therapist relationship is one in which a client becomes more and more able to rely on his or her own inner strengths to achieve a satisfying life.
