In times of distress and crisis working with an experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate psychotherapist can be essential to dealing with conflicts, loss and emotional turmoil. In the safe environment of therapy the problematic situation can be explored, te underlying issues worked through and new ways to deal with the challenges of relationships, work or finding a satisfying way of life can be found. I received the foundation of my education and training as a psychologist in Germany. I received my BS in psychology from the Eberhard Karls Universitaet in Tuebingen and my MA in psychology from the Freie Universitaet Berlin. I was licensed in Germany as a psychologist and worked for several years in Berlin and West Germany as a psychotherapist, group therapist and body therapy trainer. In the United States I received a PhD in clinical psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute, a depth oriented school, in Santa Barbara. I have also an extensive background in a wide range of professions and draw form various disciplines, trainings and life experiences. I worked for many years in construction and as a stage worker in the theater. I am also a poet as well as a artistic painter.
