Communication has tremendous power... It is the cornerstone of all personal and professional relationships and can either inspire cooperation or stimulate adversity. Recognized as a masterwork, Compassionate Nonviolent Communication (NVC) raises the bar in communication as it methodically breaks through old limiting patterns and replaces them with a powerful way of communicating that is deeply satisfying and ultimately liberating. In this session we will examine the impact speech has on us and others in shaping our experiences and relationships and how the Nonviolent Communication process is used to facilitate genuine connection and understanding between human beings in a variety of situations. Topics include:
*intention in dialogue
*alienating thinking and language
*empathy and understanding
*honesty and vulnerability
*universal needs
*NVC dialogue process
