How to GIVE (Information) and GET (More Clients): Whether you're marketing online or offline, you can quickly establish your reputation and build credibility by providing information to people. You, as a therapist, have a wealth of information in your head that will benefit thousands of people. You shouldn't hesitate because you're not the best in your field. The question you should be asking is: "Do I have information that would be helpful to the average client?" If the answer is yes, you're an expert. So share what you know.
Even if you're an introvert, you can set yourself above your competitors and become the preferred therapist in your community by simply putting what you know on paper or on a website. This kind of giving pays huge dividends in every kind of industry, and psychotherapy is no different. It is a cornerstone of Becky DeGrossa's Trauma-Free Marketing philosophy.
