My Approach to Helping

I am a Jungian analyst, Imago relationship therapist, and licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice in Marin County and San Francisco.

I specialize in the practice of depth psychotherapy with individuals and couples who experience:

* Depression and anxiety related to lack of meaning and purpose in the second half of life (from age 35 on)
* Problems concerning love, relationships, and sexuality
* Psychological work in the service of spiritual development

I also lecture and offer workshops to mental health professionals and the public on the relationship between spirituality and depth psychology.

My personal life is rooted in the conviction that a spiritual reality, which I call the deep center of being, exists at the core of every person. Psychological problems naturally begin to resolve as we realize ever more deeply the various aspects and qualities of our deep center.
